Ngorongoro and Serengeti
Day 1
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. You are picked by our driver and driven to Arusha town for rest and spend day at leisure. Overnight - Mount Meru Hotel
Day 2
Your driver guide will pick you up just after breakfast and drive to Arusha airport for your flight into the Serengeti. You will arrive the Serengeti and enjoy a simple tour through the park as you head to the hotel for check in and hot lunch. In the evening, you will be picked to enjoy an evening game drive of the Serengeti and watch the amazing sunsets of this great national park.
The Serengeti covers close to 14,763sq kms. It is the Tanzanian’s first established, largest and most famous park wherein tens of thousands of hoofed animals roam in a constant and unremitting search for the fresh grasslands upon which their survival depends. Overnight – Kubukubu tented lodge.
Day 3:
Have an early breakfast, and head out of the hotel with boxed lunch for a full day of adventure into the park. Serengeti due to this diverse ecosystem, it is undoubtedly one of the world's last great wildlife refuges. It is home to over 2 million wildebeest, half a million Thomson's gazelle, and a quarter of a million zebra, giraffe, eland, topi, kongoni, impala and other antelope. The predators are also well represented by lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena. You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before returning to your hotel after an evening game drive. Day 4:
After breakfast depart with packed lunch boxes for a game drive en – route, drive through the Serengeti to the Ngorongoro crater conservation area, stopping enroute for a visit to the world -famous Olduvai Gorge Palaeolithic site and reputed “Cradle of Man” . Scale the side of the crater, circle the rim and descend to the Ngorongoro crater for afternoon half-day guided tour of the crater. Picnic lunch will be taken at the crater floor. Ascend to your lodge for the evening and dinner at the Gibbs farm.
Day 5:
After breakfast, descend down the crater floor for game viewing with picnic lunch. Ngorongoro crater is often referred to as the eighth wonder of the world. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa's best-known wildlife arenas. A World Heritage Site, it is also one of the largest volcanic craters in the world (almost 20 kilometers wide, 610-760 meters deep and covering a total area of 264 square kilometers).
An utterly unique biosphere, the crater harbors grasslands, swamps, forests, saltpans, a fresh water lake and a glorious variety of birdlife, all enclosed within its towering walls. Due to its high concentration of wildlife, close-range viewing opportunities and striking scenery. It is also Tanzania’s most visited destination. In the late afternoon, ascend to the rim of the crater and drive to your lodge for rest. Overnight – Gibbs Farm.
Day 6:
Check out Gibbs Farm after breakfast, and drive back to Arusha for your flight back home
